Patient Admission

Patient Admission

Your stay at our hospital

To arrange a scheduled stay at Animal Hospital, please coordinate with your attending physician. Kindly contact the secretary's office of the relevant specialist department and attend the appropriate consultation hours.

For admission, please bring your insurance card (or other proof of insurance), your identity card, and a hospital referral slip (referrals are not required for private patients). Patient admissions are located on the ground floor, right in front of the entrance of the hospital. Please take a number from the terminal and wait in the designated area; you will be called in for your examination.

Referral Slip and Data Protection

To admit you to the hospital, we require a hospital admission order (referral slip) completed by your referring physician. This document should bear the stamp of your statutory health insurance provider, or confirmation of cost coverage must be available. In addition, our admissions staff will ask for your personal details. Please be assured that all data protection regulations are strictly observed. All staff members with access to the documents entrusted to us are bound by statutory confidentiality obligations.

Assumption of costs

As a member of a health insurance fund, you do not need to worry about payment for your hospital stay. Once your health insurer has issued a declaration of cost coverage, general hospital services are covered. You are only required to pay the statutory fees — levied by insurance funds — for a maximum of 28 days of treatment per year. If you are not a member of a statutory health insurance fund or wish to avail yourself of additional elective services, Animal Hospital South Robloxea will bill you directly for the costs. Typically, these costs are reimbursed by your private health insurance and/or supplementary insurance.
