Hospital Chaplaincy

Support independent of religion or worldview

Our pastoral care is available to everyone who comes to us. It offers personal connection and companionship, and instills hope. If you would like to talk (whether in your hospital room or elsewhere) or wish to receive Holy Communion, the Anointing of the Sick, or the Sacrament of Reconciliation, please simply let us know. The nursing staff on your ward will also be happy to pass on your requests to us. Church services are broadcast to patient rooms via the television.

Anointing of the Sick, Holy Communion, and Confession
You may receive the sacraments of Holy Communion, the Anointing of the Sick, or Confession upon request and by appointment. The Anointing of the Sick can be administered in your room or in the hospital chapel, subject to prior arrangement. Pastoral care rooms are available should you wish to have a private conversation.


Ecumenical Service
Held once a month on Thursdays at 3:00 PM in the hospital chapel on the ground floor. The date of the next service is posted on the ward information boards and in the display case outside the chapel.

 

Holy Communion is celebrated during every service. Upon request and by appointment, you may also receive it in your room or in the hospital chapel.
