IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

Even though these seals of quality are displayed on this page, please do not download or copy them. They may not be used on your own websites, projects, concepts, fan games, or anything similar.

I (OMNI) am the only authorized person allowed to use these seals. If you see anyone else using them, it is a fake, unauthorized, or unofficial use. Please let me know in that case! Even if I cannot always get external content removed directly, I can at least warn the community about it.

OMNI SEAL OF QUALITIES:

SECURING

ORIGINAL WORKS:

NEWLY DEFINED.

Talented artists who work with traditional media present their fan art for video games or TV shows with great passion. This style is extremely popular in the community. Depending on the complexity, every piece represents a huge amount of hard work, motivation, and heart. Naturally, the desire grows to share these artworks online with a community or fandom, gain recognition, or even go viral.

Yet, even with pieces one is exceptionally proud of, a high risk remains. Many people, especially younger internet users and intentional art thieves, simply save the images and reupload them to their own profiles to claim ownership. This is a problem seen extremely often with content farms on YouTube. It deeply frustrates even successful creators. It creates uncertainty and repeatedly raises the anxious question of whether one should even publish new works for self-protection.

For OMNI, the risk is even greater. While I occasionally create artwork, my primary focus in the subreddits where I am active lies in developing complete online projects in the form of websites. Completing them takes an enormous amount of time, dedication, free time, and energy, all managed and created by a single person. A simple text watermark is inefficient here. It ruins the website design and is simply not enough to protect painstakingly crafted original content from online thieves or younger users who casually reupload other people's work.

That is why I decided to act and redefine the protection of my online projects. This led to the creation of the OMNI seals of quality and this website. The seals are custom badges designed by me at the bottom of each of my project pages, pointing to my very own form of protection. It is not just a simple watermark that merely displays a username like those often used by digital artists. The seal shows visitors at first glance that the website is authentic, comes directly from OMNI, and has not been copied or hosted by third parties. For anyone familiar with the typical style of a genuine OMNI website, it offers a reliable and tamper-proof confirmation.

The same applies to online projects revolving around BOXTEN. If I take on another user's idea from a subreddit, I naturally always credit the original creator with a link to their profile or post. On the other hand, for OMNI GROUP projects, there are no credits. Here, both the entire concept and the execution are 100% my own work. In this way, I combine my own creative ideas directly with their practical realization as well as the implementation of concepts from other users.

QUESTIONS TO OMNI SEAL OF QUALITIES SEALS.

Here are frequently asked questions to the OMNI seals.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WATERMARK AND A QUALITY SEAL?

A classic watermark on fan art is usually just a username or display name set to reduced opacity.

The OMNI seal of quality, by contrast, is a digital stamp graphic located in the website footer that confirms its authenticity. Should anyone try to remove this seal using a web browser HTML inspector, it becomes immediately obvious to visitors that the site is not a genuine OMNI website.

HOW EXACTLY IS THAT
"NEWLY DEFINED"?

Since the OMNI seal of quality graphic is always located at the bottom (footer) of an OMNI online project website, verifying the site's authenticity is simple: if the seal is present, it is a genuine OMNI website; if it is missing, the page is not considered one.

Unlike a watermark on an artwork, which can easily be covered up or removed by editing the downloaded fan art before reuploading, OMNI online project websites are not mere artworks, but full online projects. Here, there is nothing that can simply be covered up or removed, as the seal is permanently embedded in the footer. Even if someone removes it using HTML inspectors or DevTools, reloading the page restores it immediately. It remains intact. Screenshots displaying a removed seal only make it even more obvious that the work is NOT yours. Give up, thieves.

HOW CAN I TELL IF A SITE IS GENUINE OR A FAKE?

HTML INSPECTORS (DEVTOOLS) AND SCREENSHOTS.

One of the most cunning methods used by online scammers is simply opening their browser's HTML inspector, also known as DevTools. From there, they delete the line of code containing the seal image stored on the Wix server and then take a screenshot as alleged proof of their work.

With a main page like this one, the situation is clear. However, when it comes to a site for a specific online project, such as the unofficial page for the Animal Hospital Anomaly, a screenshot alone makes it difficult to determine who actually created the site.

I can assure you of one thing: I place this seal in the footer at the bottom of all my OMNI project websites. If this seal is missing from a screenshot, it is a clear warning sign that the image was faked by removing the seal via the HTML inspector beforehand.

DOMAIN NAMES AND REUPLOADS.

Another way to determine whether a visited website is genuine is by checking the address bar in your browser.

This is a critical detail to verify. The URL of a genuine OMNI site always begins with [omnigruppe.wixsite.com/] (e.g., https://omnigruppe.wixsite.com/[Website Name]). If the domain differs from this or uses a paid custom domain, the page is guaranteed not to be mine. I deliberately do not purchase premium subscriptions or use custom domains so that I do not profit from someone else's intellectual property or make money through website clicks. Out of respect for the creators of the respective series or video games, I keep all project websites on this free base plan. This makes it immediately obvious to everyone that these are purely fan and online concepts, leaving no room for confusion with the official rights holders. (You can also tell by the Wix banner watermark!)

Reuploading one of my project websites is a serious violation, especially if a custom domain was purchased for it. Even if I cannot always get third party content removed directly or if the person involved refuses my request to take it down, I always retain the option to issue a public warning about that site and urge the entire community to strictly avoid the copied and fake website.

DOWNLOAD AND USING THE OMNI SEALS ON THIRD PARTY WEBSITES OR PROJECTS.

Last but not least, one must not forget that images from websites can be saved extremely easily via right click or by simply dragging them to the desktop.

You know this from platforms like DeviantArt, where artists offer a direct download feature for their works. That always carries the risk that someone will ultimately claim the image as their own. Exactly the same applies to the OMNI seals of quality. Theoretically, they can also be copied and embedded into third party projects or onto other websites.

However, here is the decisive point: if you see these seals on someone else's website or in another project, it is an abuse. I am the only authorized person allowed to use these seals. Nobody else has the right to do so.

IS THERE AN EXCEPTION FOR USING THE OMNI SEAL OF QUALITIES SEALS?

Exceptions for using the OMNI seal apply only if you have received my explicit permission. This includes, for example, official partnerships with upcoming video games or online projects similar to my concept.

However, do not expect me to grant permission immediately after a quick chat or a direct message on Reddit. I must thoroughly evaluate each individual case and be absolutely certain whether a partnership between our projects makes sense and is a good fit.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I COME ACROSS A WEBSITE THAT CONTAINS THE OMNI SEAL?

As previously mentioned: if you encounter a website or an online project using the OMNI seal, that usage is officially unauthorized. The site neither belongs to me nor was it created by me. While I cannot directly take down a third party website if the operator does not respond or refuses to reply, I can and will explicitly warn my community against using such fake sites or projects created by unknown individuals.
