Nursing Internship at Animal Hospital

Get a Taste of Nursing and Gain Initial Experience

Are you interested in nursing training but want to get a feel for the day-to-day work first? Would you like to complete a nursing internship as part of your vocational training or university studies? We offer this opportunity through an internship at our facility.

To qualify, the internship must be:

  • a mandatory internship as part of school, vocational training, or university studies

  • a voluntary internship (lasting up to three months) alongside studies or training, or for career and study orientation purposes

  • a mandatory practical placement during university studies, or

  • an introductory qualification program, or

  • you must be between 16 and 18 years old and not yet hold a vocational qualification.

As part of one of our ward teams, you will assist professional staff with the nursing care and support of the people entrusted to our care. You will handle domestic tasks, minor errands, and transport duties. In return, we will support you with any questions, concerns, or future career goals you may have.

If you are interested and demonstrate the right aptitude, we would be delighted if you subsequently applied for training at our School of Nursing.
