Arthur G. Sterling (Arthur or better known as The Secretary) is the immaculate and meticulously organized chief administrative secretary who keeps the hospital's complex bureaucratic machinery running behind the scenes. Known for his polished attire, pristine desk, and calm executive presence, Secretary serves as the primary organizational bridge between upper management, clinical staff, and outside correspondents. He approaches every administrative duty with unwavering precision, treating every intake file, shift schedule, and official notice with the utmost seriousness to ensure that operational documentation remains flawless.

In his day to day duties, Secretary manages executive communications, organizes patient records, and handles the intricate scheduling for senior medical personnel such as Dr. Alistair R. Finch (Doctor) and Head Nurse Evelyn M. Thorne. He oversees the incoming administrative mail, processes official hospital correspondence, and serves as the front desk receptionist for high priority visitors and legal inquiries.
