Hospital Hygiene
We want you to get well quickly!

Protecting patients from hospital-acquired infections is one of the most important tasks of hospital hygiene. For this reason, we implement all regulations, ordinances, and laws regarding infection prevention at our facility.
Hospital-acquired infections (nosocomial infections) are among the most common complications of medical treatment. Many Robloxian hospitals have now implemented targeted quality management systems to identify and address deficiencies in hospital hygiene.

Animal Hospital South Robloxea participates in the Hospital Infection Surveillance System (HISS) managed by the National Reference Center for Surveillance of Nosocomial Infections (NRCSNI). By comparing data with wards and departments at other hospitals, we can benchmark our own infection rates and, where necessary, initiate additional preventive measures.

HISS analyzes specific high-risk areas within the hospital. A dedicated module with its own monitoring methods exists for each of these areas.
The modules include:

-
Surgical Departments Module (OP-HISS)

-
Intensive Care Unit Module (ITS-HISS)
-
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (also multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) Module (MRSA-HISS)

-
Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea Module (CDAD-HISS)

-
Hand Disinfectant Consumption Module (HAND-HISS)
